Albuquerque International Balloon Festival
From October 3rd to the 11th, thousands of hot air balloons fill the skies as Albuquerque celebrates the city’s symbol. With nine days of musical performances, shows, balloon rides and fireworks, this is an event that anyone can enjoy.
The Rocky Horror Picture Show
A cult classic, The Rocky Horror Picture Show has been an interactive event since it was originally shown in the 1970s. At the Musical Theatre Southwest on Domingo Road, performances will run from October 9th to the 31st. Go be a genuine Frankie fan and enjoy the camaraderie!
Southwest Gay and Lesbian Film Festival
Beginning October 9th, the Southwest Gay and Lesbian Film Festival will be showing over 70 short and full length films. Comedy, horror, coming of age, romance and more will be available for any cinema buff to experience.
Duke City Marathon
Looking for something to get your blood pumping? The 32nd Annual Duke City Marathon is on October 18th. If you’ve been training for the Boston Marathon or you’re just looking for an excuse to get outside and enjoy the New Mexico fall weather, this is perfect.
